These terms describe use of the Betanorbit Android app and its public website. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

What Betanorbit provides

Betanorbit is a tool for recording household food batches, quantities, printed dates, shopping-list items and food movements. Information depends on the records you enter and any product information you choose from the catalog.

Your records and decisions

You are responsible for checking product details and entering the correct quantity, storage location and printed date. A reminder or date label does not determine food safety, nutrition suitability or storage conditions. Follow package instructions and use appropriate judgment about the food itself.

Keep a separate copy of information you cannot afford to lose. Device loss, clearing storage, uninstalling the app or software problems can remove local records. Betanorbit does not provide account-based cloud recovery.

Product information and other services

Open Food Facts information is contributed by third parties and may be incomplete or out of date. Its database is made available under the Open Database License. Google ML Kit supplies barcode recognition. External service providers apply their own terms and policies. Online services may be temporarily unavailable; manual pantry entry remains available.

Permitted use

Use the app and website for lawful purposes. Do not interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access to services or use them to infringe other people’s rights. Do not submit personal information about others in support messages without an appropriate reason and permission where needed.

Availability and responsibility

The app and website are provided as available. Features and online services may change. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, complete product data, or that every device or situation will be supported. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Privacy and changes

The privacy policy explains local records, optional network requests and support correspondence. Changes to these terms will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
