From the back of the cupboard
to the front of your mind.

Less forgotten.
More considered.
On your shelves

One batch.
All the useful details.

A product name is only the beginning. Keep its quantity, storage spot and the date on that particular package together.

Find your food
Search saved products, look up a package online or scan its barcode. You can always enter the label by hand.
See what’s next
Browse batches by printed date. Filter by cupboard, fridge or freezer, or focus on dates within three days.
Keep the shelf current
Record part of a batch or the whole amount as used or discarded. Add it to your shopping list when you want to restock.

Dates are reminders, not a food safety assessment. Always check the package and the condition of your food.

At the market

A list that starts
in your kitchen.

Add what you need, check it off as you shop and clear purchased items when your trip is done. Restocking a used batch puts its name on the same list.

Ask about shopping lists

In your ledger

Remember what
you made use of.

Keep a history of used and discarded amounts. See how many entries you recorded over the past seven days, and filter the history whenever you want a closer look.

Read about your data

Before you begin

A few things
worth knowing.

Can I use Betanorbit offline?

Yes. Your shelves, shopping list, ledger, manual entries and saved food catalog work on your device. Online product searches and the website need a connection.

Does it choose expiry dates for me?

No. Enter the date printed on each package. Betanorbit sorts your records by that date; it does not decide whether food is safe to eat.

Do I need an account?

No account is needed for the pantry features. Your pantry records stay in the app’s local storage. There is no account-based cloud sync.

Where does product information come from?

Packaged-product information comes from Open Food Facts contributors. The database is available under the Open Database License. Always check the current package, and enter details by hand when a product is missing.

Keep your pantry
in the conversation.
